First Post on the sight, was curious if anyone has the Stainless Works cat backs on a 6.2L SD? Thinking of an aftermarket exhaust and this seems the tip top?
Welcome to the forum. There was a dude on here around the first of the year that said he had ordered the system, but he never returned to post anything about it. You could of course be ..... the new guinea pig
Not innterested in the full system. Just want to have a better sound out the back, without the drone on long trips. Have been told the Magnaflow system has an annoying drone.

I ran them (Magnaflow) on my Raptor with the "Lightning" side in front of the passenger rear tire exit. Loved them but did run a tune, AFE cold air intake and headers.... You are not going to get any performance gains to speak of by themselves and mine had no drone....
I just put the Magnaflow 3.5 inch kit on my 2019 6.2 CCSB Lariat. I love it. I think it’s the perfect sound. Only drones around 2000 rpm if you are light on the throttle. I have 4.30s so I’m a bit above 2000 on the highway. I put it on at 100 miles on the odometer and only have about 300 now. I did do the AFE magnum intake at the same time. The truck sounds like a truck is supposed to now IMO.
I bought and had the system installed. I have the set that comes out the back of the truck not like the ones on the lightning. I have a camaro with with JBA headers high flow cats and their exhaust. My wife told me that she didnt want the drone on the truck that is on the car. Now i know my truck is bigger and not as close but the way this thing sounds is exactly what we both wanted. A little pricey but to me was worth it. Very nice system and we both dont regret it. I hope this helps.
I've been on the fence on this afraid of cab drone. Do you have any drone? Not to be confused with a nice exhaust note, but that dreaded harmonic vibration that spoils everything. Can you confirm the SW does not drone?
Also, I'm assuming when you say out the back you mean at stock location not under bumper?
Stainless works is at top of my list if I can only get this sorted out. I've seen their sound clips but that is not always accurate
If you've got money to burn ... I just installed a couple of Walker Quiet Flow II's, absolutely no drone, nice low rumble, 90 bucks for a couple of mufflers and 60 bucks to install them.

Do you have part numbers by chance?
Compare the rumble to the stock sound and why did you install a couple of them? Replacing front muffler/ resonator and leaving the small "coffee can" resonator?
I don't want to waste cash but I know from experience it's better to spend it right the first time and go for what the gut says. The true dual exhaust with an x-pipe is hard to beat when done right- really comes down to mufflers...
I just installed them on a 6.0, they replaced a couple of magnaflows that were too loud, I like them alot ... much more mellow sound, not obnoxious at all.
I would highly recommend this system. As far as the drone it is very minimal if any compared to anything I have had before. If it matters the wife has not complained about this as it was something she hated with the Camaro. If that helps.

Thanks for the feedback! Would you be willing to to post a sound clip from inside the cab?
