Did you ever pull the codes from the truck? You went from vacuum line to fuel regulator now to fuel pump. How did you come to this conclusion or are you just trying the shotgun approach?
Ok bought the code reader but no codes check engine light is off. Got a fuel filter and replaced it.run better but still acting funny I drive semi trucks so I know when it's almost like it's flooding out at lower rpms. Not shotgun approach just want it to run better. No vacuum leaks, fpr is new, plugs, wires, cap and button are new,. Checked fuel lines no kinks or leaks. It's been getting me to work everyday
.so I will have to wait till check engine light comes on.then run the code reader.
X2 to the above response. Sometimes those pins on the data link get really corroded. Use some contact cleaner or a small nail file to clean them up then try running the KOEO tests and Stored Code display again.
