Cruise Control
I have a 1996 f250 pwrstrk with about 159000 miles on it .On the way home from work the cruise wouldn't engageit worked on the way in to work 14 hrs before. I checked the fuse but have not had a chance to go futher . Any ideas on where to look first any common problems with system . This is my first powerstroke and I still have much to learn about . Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Wierd but true
I had a F150 many moons ago that started to kill the cruise control when I tried to use the left blinker (i.e. changing lanes).
Turned out it was a bad blinker bulb that opened a sneak cirquit that turned off the cruise control when the blinker was activated.
The moral?
Check all of your bulbs and fuses. I've had some wierd things show up by seemingly unrelated (minor) failures (bulbs, fuses, etc).
