Microfiche viewer bulb has burned out, so I cannot look up parts or decode all of this VIN until I can find a replacement.

1FD = FoMoCo USA - Ford Truck - Incomplete Vehicle.

Y =

N80 =

F =

8 = Check digit, FoMoCo use only.

W = 1998.

V = Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant.

Last 6 digits of the VIN (you dropped a number) is the 1998 numerical sequence of assembly, the trucks specific serial number.

Bill,

What bulb number do you need? I am almost positive I have a variety of new old stock GE bulbs I can send you.

It's the same as a home theater halogen bulb, but there's several different types of these and there's no number on it.

Take a picture of it, toss me a measurement. I owe you a bulb for sure after all these years. What's the brand on the viewer? I know the common one used to be a G99 25w halogen.
