Before....I was a wannabe.
Now....I am a Ford Superduty owner!
Picked up this F250 with 110,000 km today.
2012 F250 with 6.2L 385 HP engine...6-speed transmission...4x4...A/C...Cruise...etc....even has that funky tailgate with the step and handle!
So glad to be a Ford owner again....
I do not currently own a pickup truck, but my son has a F-150 with the "funky tailgate." For a guy with arthritic knees it is way more a blessing than a funk, much more. (But, I know 'xactly whatcha mean. It is kinda funky.) Congratulations on a fine purchase.
Now, if y'all will 'scuse me, I'm gonna peruse the "Trucks For Sale" section found elsewhere in this fine forum. Never know whatcher gonna find.
This is my fourth Ford truck...7th Ford vehicle.overall.
In order:
1967 Cortina
1974 Torino
1980 Fairmont
1984 F250
1994 F350
1997 F250 Powerstroke.
and now this one.
I've been in the market for quite a while now...joined this forum back in December of 2018, but had a real tough time finding a used one with acceptable mileage. There were a LOT of oil-patch rigs from Alberta, but they are usually completely corroded from all the salt. This one has a bit of surface rust, but nothing unmanageable and it's mostly where you'd expect to find it; on the differential, the driveshaft, etc. No body rot at all.
From the lack of used ones for sale, I'm guessing that most owners hold on to them. Lots of Dodges and GM/Chev's for sale.....
