It may be something else besides the brakes making the noise ? Usuallly brake noise will change or disappear when the brakes are applied . Can you isolate where the noise is coming from ?
Are the hubs locked in? Is the transfer case in 4x4 with hubs unlocked? Does it do this while coasting or under power? try coasting with engine off too. How about in reverse?
i have a similar problem, do you know where you vehicle was originally sold? i changed my brake pads to an inexpensive semi-metallic and it has helped. my rotors did not like heavy duty pads. i still have some noise though, i believe it is coming from the seal that is installed into the back of the rotor for the inside bearing, and i don't believe there is much you can do about it. my truck was originally sold in hawaii and the rotor requires a special seal that has to be purchased from the dealer.
