Situation is my '88 Super Duty was exposed for years to Ohio road salt > the cab needs support- namely a floor [+ rockers & door skins.]
Considered R&R of Cab ... but most of everything above the water-salt line is decent.
Options I can think of are: Find a scrap cab, then cut & paste; Go NASCAR with sheet metal; Or OLD School with wood ?
Have seen post concerning lifting cab, thinking raise it enough for repairs and not need to do most disconnect tasks ?
Just.hoping to seal interior and realign the doors = make it functional.
FYI- the floor pans are part of the cab integrity...… plywood would not be "A good thing"!
I agree about Cab integrity; looking for what would be quick -easy temporary Fix, to use more precise words : Cheaply Done because my Fun's- funds have diminished since retiring. I am attached to this vehicle because it's stout & useful. More to the point of my unbelief, my 1991 F150 seems to have a different cab than the 88 Super Duty, just trying to make sure cab mounts, or important connections are at least nearly the same on 87- 94 cabs of this body-style /
