Oxyegen Sensor Wiring

Can anyone give any insight on the proper wiring of an Oxyegen Sensor? The previous owner changed the sensor and cut the plugs out of the harness and wired them together. I just want to make sure they are wired correctly. I have three wires coming from the truck harness: Gray or tan-power, black-grnd, and blue-sig rtrn. The three wires coming from the sensor are black and two white. The truck is an 88 F350, 4x4, 351W, auto, srw. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have colors on my diagrams and they are all for 4 wires. Can you figure it out with a vom? You should have 5 volts on the power wire, ground should be self explanitory, sig return should be the other one, right?

Forget that. I just read it again and it don't make sense. The black on the sensor is ground and I believe the other 2 don't matter. They just make a loop. ( sig in- sig out )

That is what I thought, It was hooked up wrong. I am assuming that it is probably bad now that it was hooked up backwards. I am going to change it anyway. Thanks again for the help.

I changed the o2 sensor and wired it with the blue (sig rtn) to the black wire and the other two to the white wires and it works just right, problem solved. Thanks for all the help. I hope I can lend some good advice to ya'll at some point.
