Hey guys this is going to be a strange question.......i was told by my dealer today that the panoramic sunroofs allow water to enter the vehicle and drain through the gutters. They said this is normal on all of these sunroofs. To my knowledge the gutters are for if you leave the sunroof cracked and it rains to allow the water to exit the vehicle without getting into it. I have never noticed water dripping until I went to use it the other day and it sounded like it popped off the track and got stuck half way down. once i was able to get it back to normal i water tested it and noticed it was leaking at the far corners into the gutters.
My thought process is that water is not suppose to be allowed in when the sunroof is closed. Am i just worrying about nothing?
Mine gets a few drops of water after the washing the truck. First time I saw it I panicked, but then realized that it goes in the "gutter" and out the drains. Never had any issues.
It’s a “wet seal” system. If you look at the seal, it sort of looks a little like a sponge. It does allow some water to pass into the gutter system. Where some trucks were having issues is when the drains get plugged or not fully hooked up from the factory.
Have seen many complaints on this forum for leaky sunroofs and sunroofs that get stuck open. When I special ordered my truck, first thing I did was delete the sunroof. Problem solved.

Take it in and get the sunroof fixed, Mine did the same thing and the track broke, don't try to open it again till the dealer looks at it.
FYI, its best to open the vent first if you haven't opened the roof in a while. That seems to be the safest way to break a sticky seal. The roof is an awesome option and needs a little extra maintenance. All roofs get a sticky seal over time but the difference is this roof is huge and has a lot of seal. There is a lube ford uses for the seal that helps but opening it weekly seems to be the best.
So i just got a call from the dealer and they stated that they found a TSB for the sunroof. I couldnt really hear what he said exactly about it but he saw it malfunction like it had to me so they looked for a TSB and came up with one. He said it still leaks into the gutters though.
My only thought is technically a seal is suppose to seal out the elements. I get the gutters but i guess i cant wrap my head around that they would "allow" water to enter the vehicle at all.
All these posts re: sunroof makes me glad I ordered my Platinum without one.
My current vehicle, has a normal size sunroof and is constantly making noise with the heat down here in FL. No leaks though...

Let us know what the TSB number is when you get it?

Love the huge sunroof on my truck! It's awesome and no problems. Then again, I do have the luxury of a heated garage.
I have the panoramic roof. The track broke on mine and I have a thread on that. I had it fixed under warranty and despite the hassle I love this feature. Lots of threads about leaks if the drain tubes get plugged. I haven't experienced this yet and I think partly because my truck is a garage queen so not much time for leaves, debris or bugs to plug the drain tubes.
