my 79 f2504x4 needs new wheels.. will a 16" fit over the dual piston calipers or do I need to stick with a 16.5" Need some input fast so I know wether or not to bid on set of 16's

The 16s will fit over the calipers. The problem I ran into was in the rear. I got a set of late model 16s and the hole in rims did not fit over the Dana 60 I have in the rear. The older D60 has a larger, just slightly, diameter than the late model axle. I had to go back to the J yard and carefully select a couple of rims which would fit. Got a set on now and am running w/o any problems.
