Ah, I didn’t realize Torque was just a code reader - is there anything similar to AE a person should look at? Also - I’ve run across a few 94-95-96s that have never had the update to OBDII software, I’m told - will AE still get readings, or do they need a trip to the dealer first?
AE has several connection options, one of them is OBDII, which will not connect on my truck. There's another option that does connect. The AE connection instructions tell you which connection option to choose. AE works pretty good for me, however I've never used any other product like Torque Pro to be able to compare them. AE is fairly pricey but you also get excellent customer service if you have questions or problems. I think Torque Pro is relatively dirt cheap? If so, I'd try it first and get AE later if Torque Pro doesn't do the job.
