Hi, got a question... I have an 03 F250 crew cab with the fx4 package. I know its not much more then an expensive sticker but what the heck. Heres my question... The truck does sit a slight bit higher due to a block i believe, and i was wondering what would be the largest tire size i can go without any additional lifting and using the stock aluminum wheels. right now it has the LT265/75RX16E.
Any advice??
Unless they changed some thing w/the Fx4 package or the shock location, you should be able to get 295's on it. I have them on a 1999. Like FF said there is an entire thread on tire size.
Thanks that helps...ill check into 295's...i checked the faq first but found nothing in reference to the fx4 package... there is a small difference from the same truck without the package (not much tho) so thought maybe i could squeeze a little larger tire under there.
V10, it does seem the truck BODY sits higher than the same exact model without the fx4 package...granted its not much, but i thought i could fit a slightly larger tire then what would fit the truck without the package. I have a pic here... let me thro it in the gallery... take a look and let me know what you reccomend
whats the largest tire you can fit with a level kit? I cant figure out the metric numbers really, im trying to find the largest tire that would fit wide as possible and tall as possible on stock rims and what about 17x8 rims? I would assume you could step up to 295/305 easily with the 17x8? but what would be the tallest you could run?
