Are you plugging in through a USB cable to your device, and is the device FordPass is running on up to date? All you will see is an icon. It won’t actually run on the head unit, just shows the app is running.
Last time it updates was Feb 2 and now it won't let me see ford pass when I touch the app screen on the sync. It used to work before last sync update could that be the cause ?
Mine updates itself over the air. I rarely plug mine into the truck. All mileage updates, oil life, tire pressure, everything, is kept current without needing to plug it in. I think I did try to see what it would do when testing Apple Play (not too impressed with that by the way), and mhoefer is correct. I don't remember being able to do anything with the app other than see it.
