Honestly, this thread is a good analysis of the small blocks of the era. The chevy and mopar small blocks had the siamese intake/exhaust ports. The ford has equidistant exhaust and intake....it really is a shame they went modular while gm made the ls1. The sbf is by far closer to an ls1 than any of the other brands, almost as good as an ls1 with aftermarket heads, but 1 or even 2 generations behind the ls1's inception. In other words, to make a 351w into an ls1 would have been easier than making anything else into an ls1.
No, it's Craigslist.....so it's a 7.3 powerstroke.
no,no,no
that is a 555 cummings diesel.
you can tell by the unique exhaust port. and those are glow plugs and glow plug controller, not spark plugs and distributor.

From what I hear, you can bolt gen 3 heads on a Windsor but you need a custom cam because of the reversed exhaust/intake position. And a custom intake. But I wish somebody did this swap just to see what it would make power wise.
Guys, this is an ultra rare Toyota 44r. they took 2 22rs out of a taco and welded them together. They made 840 ftlbs of torque and got 50mpg in a full size ford f450 test mule that was on 38's. Jay Leno bought 2 of the 3 that were made... the government wouldn't allow them to go into production.
