Leveling Kit

Has anyone installed a leveling kit on their X? And if so was there any issues after installing? I’m thinking about purchasing one but I can’t find much info about them on the Excursions.

No just a simple front end leveling kit that goes on existing leaf springs to level the front with the rear.

Welcome me to the EX forum and family!
Does your EX still have the stock front leaf springs? If so, take a close look at the rubber bump stops mounted to the frame just above the axle, are they still there, and what kind of shape are they in? The EX has very little travel on the front springs from the factory, this has had lead to making suspension upgrades some of the most popular mods owners do. But those mini-packs that you are talking about will not help with frequent bottoming out issue most of us experienced as they will just space the axle farther away from the springs and don't address the short travel issue. A fresh set of front V codes will give you a little lift ( how much depends on which engine you have and how worn out your stock springs are) and a more level and comfortable ride ( if it ever bottoms out currently).

Its an 05 6.8l and the bump stops are in great shape and I don’t really ever experience bottoming out. Here’s a picture of them if that helps.

Evidence of it bottoming out is right in front of you in that pic. Doubt you just want to add a leveling kit from those pics.
