Walker muffler
If it isn't marked with a direction of flow or "inlet" and "outlet" etc. you can install it either way. Sometimes installing a muffler one way will get a slightly different exhaust note or sound level than the other way.
Many non-directional mufflers have a double arrow like "<----->" to further indicate that it is a non-directional muffler. I and everyone I know installs the A side toward the engine unless there is a routing issue (like with a side/center muffler).
You might want to check out the "Exhaust Systems" forum for more info.
