Intake systems
I have heard some good stuff on aftermarket intakes and I am considering one for my 2000 V 10. It has the Banks exhaust(headers) on it and I'm wondering which intake system. AirForce one and K&N both have a system. Any others? Any input as to which is best for our trucks?

I just put an K&N filter on my 03 V10, wher the box gets air, which is at the wall behing the grill, which there is no hole, can I make a 1.5-2.0" hole there so tru air gets to the filter box, or is that a bad idea.

I have the "zoodad" mod. It's a simple one to implement. However make sure you get some type of screen to cover the hole. It helps with all the bugs and debris that can fly through the hole into your filter. You can also connect a small piece of flexable hose or PVC to the end of the air box and run it through the hole to give it more air flow.

Well guys, after I install a K&N filter, with no mods at all not even the exhaust, which is the stock one, it went from 11.2 mpg to a 12.70 mpg!!! and that is city driving not highway. Not bad!! Lets see what happens when I install dual exhaust....
