DJ, you may want to check the manufacturers pressure specs for both front and back lines/master cylinder chambers... they have to maatch your application. You can put residual check valves if necessary to establish the proper line pressures.

Yes, this is off a 79-85 mustang. I suspect a 10lb residual valve for the rear drums and a 2 lb for the front for retention as the master is on the frame. With a combination valve as well.

Sounds good to me. Our vehilces are almost as light as the Mustang and the numbers match what I'v ebeen told, so it should be fine DJ

DJ my man,

Had a look at the latest updates to your gallery. She's really coming along. (you didn't hit your august target for being on the road, but then none of us thought you would). Still, you are making great progress and are obviously having fun - which is the main thing.

A little concerned with your bracket for the master cylinder and vacuum booster. It's only tacked in to the frame. I hope you are going to run a solid bead all the way from the top of the joint down. A lot of stress on that joint over the coming years.

What are you going to do about accessing the resaviore (sp?) for topping up the fluid? Are you going to plumb in one of those spiffy looking cylindrical remote tanks or retain the hole in the floor (if it even still lines up) ?

It's been a year since my garage was finished, I hualed home Euphemia, stripped her down to a bare frame and cab, did the front and rear suspension....Just when I think I've done pretty good for a year's effort, all I have to do is look at your gallery and it brings me back down to earth.....

How's the family - especially the new addition?

Later,

Everything here is good kids and all. Thanks for asking.I only tac weld most of my work at the present time due to possible changes as I am kind of just shooting in the dark and after my front cross relocation I didn't much care for all the grinding of my fine welds(haha).I suspect I will have to make an opening in the floor and you are correct in the fact I hope I'm not on the rear of the cab,but thats why I tac for now.I think those remote fills are cool but I am trying to use the parts I have and make them work as for budget reasons and I see I would need a different master .I just purchased my 22 gallon mustang tank from an e-bayer ,it's out of a 70 .I also just purchased a set of black jack headers of e-bay for 80.00 bucks.Keep in mind Ferg this truck is gonna get used .No tow truck here, but it seems to keep my mind busy and yes I am having a great time and learning things that i've wondered about for years. Well keep the updates coming and remember the vision. That should keep you motivated.DJ
