Windshield washer not working - bad module?

Ive tried researching this and found plenty on the wiper pulse/delay module but not much on the washer function. I have a 2008 F53 motorhome and the windshield washer doesnt work when I hit the button. I get a click from a relay in the module, wipers do their thing, but no fluid on the windshield. When I apply power to the pump I get a nice stream off the windshield and down into my left ear, so the pump works.

Before I buy a $140 module that probably isnt returnable, Id like to know if there is a proceedure to test mine - so many ohms from pin x to pin y or something like that. Or if this is a common obvious problem and I should just buy a module. And no its not the 30 amp fuse in position 11 but maybe some other location? In line maybe? I couldn't find any others. part # is YC2T-17D539-AA.

I just drove the thing from Michigan to Calif last week, snow all the way, and it was not fun without the washer. When I stopped to clean the windshield (a frequent necessity) windex would freeze on the glass. So it would be nice to fix this.

Thanks in advance and if there is a better place to post this please let me know. Pic added as an afterthought

I am a Ford dealership technician. I have just looked up the wiring diagram details for the circuit you describe. It doesn't appear to be too complicated at all. There should be a 14 pin connector on the wiper control module. Pin #4 should be a black with white stripe coloured wire that has continuity to the hot side of the washer pump connector. Since you've already verified that putting 12 volts to the hot side of the washer pump connector successfully operates the washer pump. You now need to check the resistance of the wire between the hot side of the washer pump and pin #4 of the wiper control module connector. There should be very little to no resistance reading. If you're not getting any type of reading then the circuit is open, and you'll need to repair that circuit. If this checks out good, you'll need to check pin #4 with your DVOM. Have an assistant operate the washer pump switch as you have your meter set to DC volts with the red lead on pin #4 and the black lead on ground, with the connector connected to the module. If you aren't getting 12 volts on pin #4 with the washer button depressed, the wiper control module isn't functioning properly
