Transmission buzz
Hey all, headed to work this morning, doing about 60, let off the gas and it starts buzzing. Sounded like a gear spinning somewhere in the transfer case. I can feel it in the 4x4 shift lever, but when I hit the gas it goes away. Played that game for about 10 minutes and then every 20 seconds felt like something was clunking underneath the truck pretty hard. Got to work threw it in reverse and that same sound came back and reverse only kind of worked like it wasn't fully engaged. So I had to get the front of the truck facing a different way so I could leave without having to use reverse so I floored it and got the truck spun around, then put it in reverse and now it works fine. It's a 93 f350 w/460 and e4OD tranny. I'm gonna check the fluid today and see if that might have anything to do with it. Any thoughts on what the hell this is would be greatly appreciated.
