Either do a vehicle health report, or use Forscan to see the oil % life remaining. I am at 48,000 km, have a service package, and change oil every 8000 km. At all of the oil changes at 8000 km or just about, I am showing between 30-40% oil life remaining. Which means that I could easily hit 11,000 km before a required oil change light.
So, before you change your oil, and before you reset it, check the oil life remaining. For my last oil change a couple weeks ago, I had to go on a trip and I knew I would go over 48,000 km slightly so I just check the oil life remaining with Forscan. I am using Forscan because I have a 2017 and I am in Canada and they don’t have FordPass vehicle health reports working
