Fit up looks really good..
I can't quite tell what color the parts are you added though..
chrome bumper , , black grill and black upper plastic ?
Kyle
As it sits right now, it is a mash up of colors until I have the $$ to get them all painted to match the rest of the body. Bumper is chrome, the lower valance is black plastic, upper valance and grill is grey. I did a half baked black plasti dip job on the grill that has now mostly peeled off When it is all done, they will be paint matched to the mineral grey like the rest of the truck. Front and rear bumpers will be chrome, though I am toying with the idea to paint them as well.
Instead of starting a new thread, I figured that I'd post on this one since a lot of the information is here already. I had a very nice C7 Corvette not see my Excursion and proceed to back hard into me at the lights outside of my office. I already have '05 lights on a modified 00-04 header panel. I want to get rid of the plastidipped grill and bumper and go to the 05-07 bumper setup with a raptor style grille with the grill, bumper pad, bumper, and lower valence all in black. Hoping to do it all for under $1000. Here's my dented Excursion:
Do I need anything more than what I have listed below:
A couple more questions.
1. Do I even need the brackets that come with the kit?
2. Has anyone bought these "black painted" bumper parts? can I use them as is without additional paint etc. for a matching or close to matching matte black front end? Anything will be much better than the plastidip.
Sometimes that black paint on new body parts or bumpers is really just like a primer coat and would need a coat of paint to look and remain good.
Are you also going to to buy the F and R to make the new grille spell FORD?

Does anyone know for sure and have any first hand experience? I walked out to our base model F250 here at work, and the bumper looks flat black painted from the factory.
