2000-2004 Excursion Auto On Headlight Kit DEI 545T
Hey, new to Forum owning a 2000 Excusion V-10 6.8L 4x4 w/128K miles, and as original owner. Forum looks to be great source for experience information.
Looking to see if any member has installed the Directed Electronics, Inc. 545T Nite-Lite kit for Automatic Headlight On/Off which uses a photoelectric sensor to determine daylight and darkness need for headlights.to be turned on and off automatically. With this kit, you also have the option to still manually control the parking and headlamps in the Excursion.
I have the kit and instructions, but the details leave somethings to question.
Hoping that a member might have installed on a 2000-2004 Excursion, or similar F Series Truck to get more detail instruction guidance.

This kits comes from Directed Electronics, Inc. and can be adapted for installation on many different mfgs. and models.
If you have any experience with the installation of this DEI 545T-d auto headlight lamp module on any F Series Truck or Excursion, please give me your thoughts or feedback.
