Popping #24 fuse

Hi Folks. I joined this group because I have a issue with a 1999 F-150 4.2L 2wd Manual Trans. A customer of mine said his truck died going into 5th gear and had it towed home. After various diag.on it problem is the #2 fuse (Powertrain Control Module) will pop the #24 fuse (Powertrain Control Module, Automatic Transmission, CMS Sensor when it is plugged in. Codes I have on CPU are:
B1410 Left Front Power Window Motor Circuit Fault
B1934 Driver Airbag Low Res/Short
B1871 Passenger Air Bag Disable Module Fault
B1884 Pad Warning Lamp Inoperative
C1155 Left Front Speed Sensor Input Circuit Fault
C1230 Rear Speed Sensor Circuit fault
C1233 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Input Missing
c1158 Left Front Speed Sensor Coherency Fault
C1229 Rear Speed Sensor Coherency Fault
B1428 Safety Belt Lamp Circuit Failure
P1000 OBDII System Checks Incomplete
P0141 HO2S12 Heater Circuit Fault
P0161 HO2S Bank 2 Sensor 2 Heater Circuit Fault
U1262 SCP Data Fault for J1850 BUS
Took a while to type these. lol. Now someone looked at this truck before me and they told him he needed a CPU and he bought one already flashed. With all these codes and he wanted me to do it I said sure why not. Well didn't fix anything. I did read about o2 wires melting on the exhaust but they were fine. I even unplugged them and still pops fuse. Does anyone have any idea where I can start on diagnosing this mess. Oh by the way the fuse pops when the key is turned on only. I promise to keep you all updated on the progress.

Thanks

Welcome aboard!

I'd guess your post won't get much response as many folks go looking for places to help and often pass by the New Member Introductions. I'd suggest posting in "1997 - 2003 F150" to get some answers flowing.
