Question truck running rough

I have a 99 F350 4x4 7.3 PSD
the truck has been running rough, it acts like if it had plugs not working, I will be driving down the road and the tone will get louder as if some of the injectores wern't firing, could this be the cam sensor? or is it problems with the oil injector pump?
the dealer told me to chang the oil, well after doing this three times it gets better for about 1,000 miles then back to acting up again. I use rotella oil and a motorcraft filter, I change oil every three thousands miles.. this has been going on for several months. so any Ideas?

This has happened to me twice and both times it was my injectors. The only way I know how to check them out is at the dealership.

Some of the direct injection turbo engines have injector wiring that goes through the valve cover gasket. This wiring can fail in several places causing an injector not to fire.
