My 37’s are tossing LOT of snow / slop up into my running boards. Anyone know of some short flaps that could be put on to keep some of it off the boards yet still allow full range turning?
What Scorpion says is the way I would do it. I have Cloud Rider aluminum, with upgraded brackets but I think they are too low for your preference. I have the extra long ones , even then the snow and ice piles up half way down the running board instead of the front of the board. I have to kick them off to get in and out. I have also had times where running boards were so covered I couldn't open all the doors without kicking them off. I wouldnt recommend these mudflaps becuase I think they take up too much space in the wheel well for your 37" tires turning lock to lock and going over bumps I had trouble with the stock tires.
I have a set of Duraflaps off my 2017 sitting here. I’m only holding them until I can figure out what is going on with my 5..0L. Might go back to a Super Duty.
Im sure you can call Duraflsp for a custom length, as I ordered a longer set because the truck sat up so high. Frankly, you are defeating the purpose with shortys. You will not lose range if turning as you have indicated, but the short flaps will allow the splash to jump up under the rear door and load the step there... especially at the support brackets. I’m living that now with my F150 and Weathertech flaps. If it’s slush, it freezes and I can’t open the rear doors.
