I didn't see the AIC as an option. Let me know if you did.

I looked through the Ford website numerous times while configuring the truck I wanted and just now. I did not see an AIC as an option anywhere. The only option that comes close to needing it is the PTO, but it doesn't come up w/a box saying and AIC needs to be added also. I didn't even know that this was an option to consider before I bought my truck. Now I learn if I want it, it will cost me at least twice as much.

AIC is now standard equipment on the 2005 models. Engine block heater is now an option for 2005 except for a few states.

Auxillary Idle Control. Allows you to set the engine at a fast idle 1200-2500 RPM's for periods of extended idling to prevent damage to the engine. Also used to increase idle if you have Pto operated accessories.
