Fog Light Issues
Probably has been discussed before, but I need to pop off this question before I dig into it myself. My 02 X has factory fog lights, and they refuse to turn on. I've checked fuse #43 in the box and the fuse is good. Reading the owners manual there does not appear to be a relay for the fog lamps. I've also read that you can probe the yellow wire at the headlight switch to check for power on the fog circuit.
I haven't quite gotten that far, but just poking around behind my glove box today I noticed there is a yellow wire there, with a fuse inline in it. I'm not sure if this is factory or not, and I'd like one of you guys more knowledgeable than me to clarify. I didn't pull the fuse, but if that is the same wire I'd expect that might be my cause. And it would certainly save a LOT of headache troubleshooting things myself.
So basically, am I correct in thinking that this is the proper wire feeding my fog lights? I'll check that fuse tomorrow when I get in a little wrench time as well as disconnect the fogs at the bumper and see if i'm getting 12v down there as well.
