Cab swap

I have a 96 f150 super cab 6 300 2wd automatic. I'm wanting to place my cab on a 92 f150 super cab 4x4 manual. Will the cab clear/fit over the new tranny? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the carpet and you will see the trans tunnel in the standard truck is removable. If the auto truck also has a removable panel you are good to go, just use the manual cover after the swap. If the auto truck doesn't then just cut out the hole in the floor and use the cover from the other truck. Other than that don't lift by the roof.

Is the "hump" the same size on both cabs? The reason I'm asking is I was looking into a carpet kit for the pickup and they made it seem like there was a difference other that the holes for the shifter and such...

Ok thank you. Do you know if the steering column and clutch pedal will "bolt in" without any serious modifications? My understanding is that all cabs are generally the same from the factory just set up for different applications?
