You may know this but just in case there is a zip tie you should cut and it releases the wire bundle. You probably need to move the fuse box which is very easy.
On my 2017 I had a good 6 inches of wire to work with making soldering pretty easy.
Are the pass through wires longer on the 2019 super duty? on my 2017 they are a PITA.
they have split the upfitter and passthru wires into two separate locations..
the upfitter wires are located, with the relays, in the engine bay, at the drivers side hood hinge, on the fender. lots of wire to use..
no longer need to turn upside down in the drivers seat to connect an upfitter to a passthru. then fight the short passthru under the hood..
for the 2017's the passthru wires are moved to the passenger side, and come out in the cab near the fuse panel in the passenger footwell.
the PTO wires are also there https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...9&postcount=32
I know the wires under the hood pretty well. It is the pass through wires on the passenger side that I would hope they made longer. I run my radar and dash cam to the upfitters.

I ran my dashcam to the PTO power wire in the footwell.. always on when truck is on
The passthroughs on my 19 were plenty long under the hood. But under the dash? After removing the cover below the glove box and flipping upside down in the seat with my feet up near the headliner and head under the dash, I managed to turn my hands into bloody stubs while stripping one of the wires and soldering to it. Gotta be a bunch of Ford engineers laughing at us daily. They should all be shot.
Just hooked up my dash cam and radar detector on my 19. Terribly short pass through wires by the fuse box. I was laughing I was so miserable trying to solder my connection point.

Why did u need to use the passthrus?
My dashcam is connected to the PTO wire in the same location, but it wasn't too hard. I didn't solder. I used waterproof crimp connectors.
If you’re in there making a connection to one of them, I suggest doing the other three while you’re there. I added an extra 12” or so of wire to the two I wasn’t using and then tucked them up out of the way. The way my luck goes I’d have wanted another one for something and then been cussing the access again. On the other hand, now that they’re longer and easier to access, I’ll probably never need them!
i didn’t know about the pto wire. Is that always on? Which wire is it?
from the doc
2 Green / Orange CBP22 CBP22 OUTPUT Run / Start Feed 6.7L Diesel - BCM Pin C2280C-23 - 12V, 5A fused feed intend for SEIC / PTO use.
on when the truck is on. My dashcam came with a lighter plug end.. I just bought the socket from Advance Auto parts, and wired its two wires to pto and ground, then plugged in dashcam.. folded the wires up under the fusebox..

Thanks for the info on the upfitter wire locations. For all the solder impaired out there and those dealing with short wires in pain in the *** locations check these out:
The solder melts with the heat gun so all you need to do is position your wires, hit it with a heat gun and you have a soldered heat shrunk connection in about 10 seconds.
