No, not at all. But if you can pull it out to change it, you can rebuild it your self. Have never seen up pipes that cheap. What are they? And are they the new style or replacement of the same old style installed by ford?

That's not a bad deal for a new/reman turbo however you can also just fix the one you already have if a little bit of downtime wont hurt you. A 360* rebuild kit is $65-70 and a billet compressor wheel is $180 or so. Hell I have a stock one in nearly new condition you can just have if you want it. The upipes I would get the Dorman ones at least. I think they run around $150. I would recommend deleting the EBPV while you're at it.

I looked on internet for reviews for this company and only saw a couple of warnings about not getting product as promised. Beware

I see a "Diesel Truck Parts Direct" that comes up near the top of Google search:

https://www.dieseltruckpartsdirect.c...-turbocharger/

Actually they show a stock one for $399 it looks like. It's probably a legit place.

If he's in a place where it gets really cold that would be a bad recommendation.

I live in the Northeast and have never missed it. I'll tell you what I wouldn't remove though that a lot of other people regularly do is the air intake heater. That actually does seem to help warm the engine up a little faster when the truck is parked and idling.

I went ahead and bought a brand new Garett center cartridge (the turbo without the left and right housing) for 550 from riff raff pretty much didn’t feel like doing a rebuild on mine despite everyone saying it’s straight forward. I would not be interested in paying an extra 50 for someone else to rebuild the turbo I would recommend do it your self or drop in the center cartridge. If anything buy a turbo rebuild yours and sell it on eBay
