Ford Confirming Manufacture Date?
Hi there guys, hope someone can put me on the right direction...
Do you know if Ford USA or Canada would be able to supply me with a letter confirming the date my truck was manufactured? It's a 2001 Ford F-350.
Long story short, I'm trying to buy a truck in Victoria-BC, which is a province where they don't issue "titles" like the other provinces in Canada or USA. I'll be importing the truck into UK, and the department of transportation here needs the original "title" or a official manufacture letter, purely to confirm the date it was produced, so it can be registered here with the correct age related number plate...
They won't decode the VIN, nether accept the information on the VIN Sticker, which says when it was produced.... yes... don't ask me why....
