Hi All, new to this site!
Ive just bought a 68 long bed Ranger, I believe the body colour is Poppy Red (code says otherwise) however the steering wheel and column is an off white colour. Would anyone know the name or paint code for the steering wheel as I have a replacement wheel that I would like to colour match.
Thanks
Neil

The "off white" is Wimbledon White, COLOR code M on the Warranty Plate. This color was introduced in 1964, used into the 1980's, but Ford dropped the Wimbledon name after 1972.
Note: 1960/63 trucks also had a M COLOR code, but this was for Corinthian White which was a bright white.
1964/71 Passenger Cars also came in Wimbledon White using the same Warranty Plate M COLOR code. There was probably a gazillion 1965/66 Mustangs painted this color.
The basic Ford part number for Wimbledon White is 1619. It remained the same after the Wimbledon name was cancelled.
Edit: You can see this color, both the M & 1619 in the chart in post #2.
Thanks GaryKip and NumberDummy! I love my old Fords and this is my first F100, its in really good shape for a 50 year old truck and I'm looking forward to keeping it that way.
Appreciate your help with this one!!
