A quick tranny question
I have a c6 and was wondering. It shifts fine however when I changed the fluid it changed color well it didn't change color until I hit the passing gear. I know the clutches are slipping under hard load. I don't drive this thing much and really don't wanna do a rebuild yet, maybe next spring, I wanna jump in there and try it myself. Until then I was wondering would it be worth installing a cheap mild performance/towing shift kit? My understanding is that a shift kit helps the function of the tranny, so would it be worth it? I would install it anyways so any reason why I shouldn't now?
