I’m looking at getting Method 305 wheels for my 17’ Lariat. They will be 17’s with 0 offset and 4.75” backspacing on an 8.5” rim. I will be putting 37x12.50x17’s on them. How far will they stick out past the wheel well. My concern is them sticking out too far. Pics if you have them.
This is the comparison vs a 265/65r20 on stock +44
You're talking about moving the wheel out by 1.74 inches. Since the stock tires are more like 10.5 inches wide vs 12.5 then you'll be moving the tire out by 2.74 inches on each side.
Just installed the new Methods NV 17’ with 0 offset and 4.75 BS on 8.5” rim. With Cooper AT3 XLT 37x12.5x17 They stick outside the wheel well exactly 1 1/4”. Sitting on a 2.5” Readylift kit and absolutely no rub yet. I’ll confirm tomorrow when I get out to the jobsite, but very pleased so far. I’ll upload better pics tomorrow from the front and back.
37x12.5x17 Cooper AT3 XLT Method NV 305 0/4.75 Stock rims 295/65/20
Ok so the Pro Comp 1069's im looking at are 18x9 but 4.75 backspacing. -6 offset. If the comparison vs a 265/65r20 on stock +44 is correct it would move the tire out 3" with a 35/12.5r18 tire. 3" sounds like a lot but im wondering once you subtract that from how far the OEM sit inside it should be ok? Not looking for the skateboard look!
