Okay friends I have discovered possibly the worst fuel problem i've ever seen in my life. This is in my 88 Econoline E150 5.8 I posted this issue couple or few days ago and I've had some help from others but if I knew how to post pictures or if I have time to learn how to post pictures I would have posted this picture of this in tank fuel pump but it is awful! this is where my problem is. the rubber hose in side the tank, or what is supposed to be a rubber hose is disintegrated to just the inner woven part of the hose so basically the tank is black with dirt and that's what prevented the pump from getting fuel to the inline hp pump. So I'm going to drop the tank clean it out thank God there's not much fuel in there left I can drain that out in probably a couple of gallons And see what happens after I put the new pump in but I believe that that will solve the problem I was going through. I will post the results. Personally, I think the hoses used in this tank does not look to be the correct hoses I've never seen in-tank hoses eaten up by the fuel if they were made to be used in a fuel tank. Anyway I will post the results.
