My-key problems

Got a 2018 5.0 supercrew sitting in the driveway. When I bought the truck in June I was given 2 keys by the dealership. The steroids was limited to half volume so I figured out one of my keys was an admin key and let me change some settings. Fast forward to present and there was snow on the ground in central PA and I wanted to leave my mark on an unplowed parking lot of course.

truck will not let me turn TCS off saying mykey won't let it. And now niether of my keys seem to be the "admin" key and let me change any settings. I don't even have option to clear them. When I go into advance setting it only lets me see status.

I've read the owners Manuel it didn't seem to help me. Truck is outsmarting me😣

When I press the traction control button on dash I get a prompt in the gauge cluster saying mykey is active. Won't let me shut traction control off.

That's a trip to the Ford dealer for you. If you have two admin keys then you can make changes according to the owners manual. Without two admin keys and limited to mykey restrictions, the only way to fix your issue is back to the dealer.

Was your truck a demo or loaner before you bought it? Was it purchased used?

Bought it brand new to my knowledge, had 70 miles on it. Got it last June but this was the first thing I ran into with the restriction. I'll give the dealer a call tomorrow i guess. Was hoping there was a setting somewhere I was missing haha

Ended up calling dealership like suggested. They said they will reset it. That's the fix.
