Headers on '90 351W Question
I recently installed long tube headers on my 1990 F-350 with the factory fuel injected 351W. The only problem I've run into is there is no accommodation for the tube that went from the EGR valve (located on the front of the upper intake plenum) to the factory exhaust manifolds. The truck runs fine now with the pipe cut and unplugged. Some people have told me it will run bad cold, if something is not done before winter. Any suggestions?

I have the same truck and am wondering the same thing, any info would be greatly appreciated. I understand the full affects of EGR and everything that it does but not familiar with the ford computer set up of how it would deal with the different fuel ratio without the egr valve. any ideas please
