If you are having problems posting pics I suggest using this icon and not the paper clip. The same page comes up either way but this method works everytime for me.
I also find to have less issues if I click "go advanced" instead of the quick reply. For some reason with the quick reply when I upload pics it times out at 99%.

x2 on this. I have always used the suggested icon, but only recently had a couple issues with pictures not showing up in the post or when I added the pictures, it deleted everything I had typed. Every time, I was using quick reply.
I always use to use the “go advanced” and never had a problem. Now for the last couple of months it will load one picture for my thread but after that I cannot post anymore pictures. Got really frustrated and basically gave up.
Thanks for the posting and this thread. I have an option to try.

As far as I know the "go advanced" option only comes up when you are "editing" your thread, not when first creating one or quoting another's post.
EDIT: I was just looking at the "quick reply" option and I see the "go advanced" option is there. You may as well just "quote" the post as the same thing should come up. It makes it like a new post instead of simply writing a few words you can now add pics.
I just use the lower "go advanced", then click the lower L/H "manage attachments" and go from there. I have also just recently noticed that if you click and drop the mouse pointer icon (flashing bar) and put it below the added script it seems to work better. You know the ol FTE saying....
I have tried all the tips given above with no positive results. Also, I can not see photos that other members have posted in their threads. I just see the little postcard where a photo should be. Do I need to register at one of the on-line photo sharing sites to get up to speed? Thanks.
Initially your pic didn't open for me on my PC. I was able to open it and resize it in "paint" but by the time I came back to post it yours had finally loaded. Maybe it was just too big to load properly. Here's your pic at 50%.
