back up camera
I recently replaced my tailgate , new one has camera, did not have camera before . tailgate plugged right in , lock works , what do I have to do to get yhe camera to work. I have the 4.2 display

Pretty sure you have to have a dealer activate it.
Had to replace a 2013 Taurus camera and everything I came across said that even replacing an existing camera required dealer activation to recognize the new camera (which I had the dealer replace in the end)
