I have an 08 f350 5.4L. I just replaced the battery, alternator, voltage regulator, and serpentine belt. Truck runs great but I’ve noticed an odd issue. It seems that only when the truck is in drive, while stopped with foot on the break, every couple seconds there is a slight shutter that lasts for maybe half a second. RPM jump very slightly for a second then back to normal. When in park or neutral no shutter at all. Only in drive while stopped at a light. And it only started doing this AFTER I had the work done. Any ideas? Thank you very much in advance!
First of all: CHANGE YOUR TITLE. This is not an emergency and not even a severe problem. More people will read your post with an appropriate title.
More than likely you have a vacuum leak. Use some propane gas or starting fluid and spray around the intake manifold and your vacuum hoses. When you hear the rpms raise, you found your leak.
