2000 Expedition 6 Disc Changer Problems
MY 6 disc changer has stop working. Cd's are loaded and the machine pulls each tray out but does not recognize that there is a CD there. It continues through all six disc then displays the message empty MAG, any suggestions?

I had the same problem and disassembled the entire cd changer (don't do this unless you know what you are doing it is a complete pain in the ***.) There are no springs that support this mecasnism. We connected the motor that runs the pull on the CDs to a set of batteries and the motor worked. After reassembling the system it worked. Yay for free fixes.
