Hello all. I am in search of various files and cad drawings to start manufacturing some repops of dentside hardware. i recently returned to the fabrication world and have a plethora of equipment at my disposal, the cnc plasma being my favorite tool right now. Press brake, box and pan brake, shear, square and round tubing benders, etc etc. i am looking to start making some bush guards and any other stuff we are having trouble finding. besides forming sides there is probably not much i cant reproduce accurately. Aluminum or steel i can cut, form, weld etc. help me out with some drawings or measurements and sketches and maybe i can start shipping some product to you.I have been doing some searching online and not much luck so far. Any input or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
77&79f250 or maybe mike0o0o0o has the measurements for the hard to find cactus smasher. Hopefully they post it up again cz you'd definitely have a wait list for those
Well here you go and another BIG one IMO is the metal side fuel tank cradle used on 78/79 4wd. Sorry NO measurements on the other stuff. As far as the Catus Smasher they are the same for the most part, but different angles on the top bars for a 73-77 versus the 78/79 bumper. I do have a set of CAD drawing for brackets to mount newer style nerf bars/tubes to our older frames. Looking for it. The grab handles were made by a fellow FTE member. I am lucky enough to have a set from him and they are not mounted yet. Made the handle out of race car drive shaft safety loop material.
Another idea...duel battery mount bracket (battery mount for DVRS side of truck). Push bars...I have both black and chrome bars in my shop to get real time measurements. I even have a 73-77 and a 78/79 OEM push bar setting on the shelf.
