I'm really sorry for asking what's probably a really stupid question, but where's the water/fuel drain I'm supposed to check? I couldn't seen to find it.
One more idiotic question while I'm on a roll, where's the block heater plug?
water fuel drain is behind the fuel filter. mine is a small yellow handle slightly to the passenger side. if you climb up on the bumper and look straight down on the fuel filter cap, you should see it. the block eater plug is even more fun to find. if you have the factory fogs, it is inside the bumper to the right of the driver side fog. can be tuff to find. took me two weeks after getting my truck before i found it. good luck and keep searching, it's in there somewhere.
small hands help to initially find the plug. it is behind the vertical plastic pillar that seperates your fog and the driver side tow hook. it is cramped and will be blind fihing for it.

Since we're on the "where is it" train, anyone know where the horn can be found? Someone mentioned earlier it's behind the bumper, but I can't see it for the life of me! The "bad truck, don't eat that Honda" bar behind the airdam makes it impossible to view from underneath.
I'm trying to hook-up a horn with a lower tone (the stock one just doesn't fit the image of this truck) but can't do it until I find where to hook it up...
haroutd... i have no idea... 3 months later and I still haven't found it. Do have one though, sounds great compared to the Civic I have. Let me know if you find it.

That's why it took me SO long to find mine...
My invoice said I had a heater... but where ?
Everyone said behind the drivers side tow hook...
I thought I was an idiot for not finding it...
IT'S NOT THERE ON MINE
It wasn't a biggee since I'm in DFW and
"we don't need no stinkin block heaters"
It wasn't until I was crawling around the truck relocating my fog lights to the bottom of my westin bull bar that I found it !
It's on the passenger side between the fog lite and the tow hook...
It's a black three wire pigtail with socket, and has a black cover inserted into the outlet to keep the dirt out....
There is a wire loom that runs down the passenger side of the radiator - Not ON the radiator, but in that location....
The plug and pigtail was zip tied to that wire loom just above and behind the bumper level... but not connected to the bumper !
Now that I know where it is, I'll probably never use it ! but on my trip up north at Thanksgiving I may bring a timer and an extension cord JUST in case !
good hunting !
and let me know if I should try this stupid communication thing again if u can't find it...
Haroutd: If you will remove the right front tire and remove the fenderwell you will find those horns hidden in the fender cavity, this is the procedure to replace them!!
Thanks. Found them both. I had to douse my driveway with water afterwards. I pulled the lever and heard a gurgling sound, then heard splashing on the ground. I had no idea where it would go, but looking at the front diff where it dripped, there was water in it.
Also, the block heater was pretty easy after the description. Right next to the tow hook on the drivers side.
no problem. i have been lurking around here long enough. i figured that it's about time that i contribute. many on this forum could probably disassemble and reassemble one of these trucks blindfolded and half-asleep!

Hope this helps,

Thanks streetcruzer! I'll take a look -- but did you say horns? As in there's more than one there?
Haroutd: On my buddys S/D there was 2 horns (99 or 00), he wanted to go to a louder aftermarket setup. After removing the fenderwell, the horns are pretty easy to get off and replace with new ones.
