1949 F-1 E brake boots

Need to replace the emergency brake rubber boots where the front cable meets the two rear cables on my 48 F-1. Are they available just by themselves ?

None of the commercial reproducers are making them and they are not currently available anywhere that I have seen. One of the members here has been threatening to reproduce them and claims to have most of the molds finished, but that's been going on for over 10 years now. I have my doubts that they will see production. You'll probably want to find a substitute. I believe I remember someone here posting that they found something that they could make work at McMaster-Carr.

Thanks for the lead. Did not know if they were reproduced or not. Will try to find something to work.

Never thought of using leather. I have a lot lying around, all kinds , I'll give it a try.

Also thanks NumberDummy for the part number, never know when you might run into a NOS somewhere.
