Canadian Military full flow or bypass oil system?
I am brand new to this site and new to flatheads. I am building up my first flatty and am having problems figuring out the lubrication set up. I have found info that points me to believe that I have a Canadian military block with the full flow set up. This is my second block and all of my other parts are from the first unidentified block so I do not know if I have the parts to match my current block.
I am trying to identify which hoses go where from the filter canister and if i need any other parts to complete the system. Below are the pictures of the three ports on the rear of the block, the port by the dip stick and the filter canister. I also added the Canadian Military set up that I found on a different thread.
If someone can help me identify what goes where, I would really appreciate it!

Hey Dorien, welcome to FTE.
The Flathead Forum does not see a lot of traffic, but the '48-'56 Forum does. There are several people there that are well-versed in the flathead engines, including members from Canada. You might get a better response there.

Dorien, in the mean time, here is a past discussion on the full-flow filtration. It looks like you need a special fitting, as noted in post #9, part #CM380568-S.
