yea, i'm just a kid 18years old but, i put a 4 inch ruff country lift on my 79 f250 4x4. there weren't o many changes just i moved the brakelines, they were still farely movable so i didn't need extenders. ithere were so holes in th frame so i moved them down and bolted them onto the frame, i used the same hold down plate and everything. and i has a lil problem case i didn't geta new pitman arm, i got a steering block instead. getting those bolts off are hell , the ones that are studded into the arm itself. once you get those off its clear sailing. but besides the brake lines there isn't much besides the steering block . the brake lines will take like 2 mins at the most to fix. or if your kit comes with extenders wich mine didn't. there ya go

Like someone else said, brake hoses need to be either lengthened or dropped down on the frame. I dropped mine.

You may want to lengthen the drive shafts too. According to the drive shaft shop that is doing mine, 3" is marginal but 4" requires them to be lengthened. That's just his opinion, though.

naa you will be fine with the four inch lift, you don't need to get the drive shaft lengthened. i think you might for a six inch but not a four. i put mine on and it seems to be fine. plus it costs some money i bet to get them lengthened
