Shock Advice

Done a lot of research but looking for some help... I have a 1,400 dollar credit to use for some Fox or King Suspension Shocks. I have a 2019 Lariat FX4 with the snow plow package. I am planning on lifting later on to either a 2.5 or 4 inch lift. I do NOT tow nor do I offroad. I am just looking for a soft ride preferably softer then stock if possible. What exact shocks/model would you recommend? I am willing to spend more just looking for some advice as this is my first time replacing suspension on a truck. Any help is much appreciated!

Both choices you mentioned are good, that's what they do best,......improve suspension components. But instead of digesting a ton of opinions, send an e-mail or a call to both mfg's in regard to what you want, and with your snow plow package you already have (and if you plan on plowing), they just might be able to dial in a perfect combo for your needs, and if your not happy with it's out come , send it back, it was they're recommendation,....... not ours.
(My truck is a daily driver with moderate towing, I have a 2.5" level with Fox 2.0's and I love it.)

I second jimzpsd comments and also put on Fox 2.0 shocks and steering stabilizer. On my 2012 I installed Bilsteins. I prefer the Fox shocks and have been somewhat amazed by them. On road for small imperfections they seem slightly firmer than stock (non FX4). However, for potholes, rough roads, off road, etc. they blow away the stock shocks. The ride is so much less jarring and rarely get frame/body shuddering, whereas with the stock shocks there were times I wanted to pull over and kick the truck.

Thanks for the advice, I live in Miami so the snow plow was just something that actually came with the truck. Someone had ordered a truck and never picked it up so I got a deal on it. But again no towing or offroading but I do have the FX4 package. Im going to look into the Fox shocks, have to use this credit asap.

This is probably what I would do if I needed to use that credit:
