Vacuum Pump, where's Waldo

Greetings,

On my 99 7.3 Dually, my fender mounted electric vacuum pump decided to just stay running yesterday, as long as the key is on. Two questions, what does that thing power and why would it just stay running? Second question, do I have a belt driven vacuum pump on that motor, if so where is it?

It controls the front hubs on esof trucks and the HVAC. Its common for the vacuum tank to crack. Your truck doesn't have a engine driven vacuum pump.
