Yup its a wee bit chilly out there! I saw -33 this morning on my way to work. Been a loooong time since I felt that cold! I got my shorts ready for Sat!
Crazy temp swings!
You get that "new to you" sled looked at yet?

you can really bridge the bumps with those and throw good snow chunks. How long of a drive to get to the mountains? That sucks about having to rebuild the engine again. I also have an 05 gtx 500ss and had to have it rebuilt a couple years ago because it ate a crank bearing. But the original had 11000+ miles on it and 10000 of those weren't easy ones. The 09 has around 7500 miles on it. The riding you guys do out there is different then in New England.
It's different riding for sure. The only "trails" to speak of are the groomed trails in the main road ditches, if we have enough snow.
For the real mountain riding we usually stay in Dubois, WY near the foothills of the Teton forest, up on the cont divide is some great area to play......still a looong days drive.
The Black Hills are a lot closer, but that is a cross of so so trails and not so great meadows, but with the right snow not so bad really.

Talking 40's here for Saturday, so time to haul the shorts out again
Morning guys. We have an old van out back that the bosses decided today is the day to get it running. I think the battery is frozen. Got that pulled out and on the big charger, hopefully it takes a charge. On the bright side the van has a block heater, so I have that going for me which is nice!
Good morning Troy. How are your projects going? Or have you temporarily suspended them with the cold?
Haven't worked on anything in about a week or so. Not due to the cold but I had a customers 6.0 in the shop I have been working on and just got that out of there. Now I have a couple other little projects I want to get finished up and then back on the 7.3 this weekend or early next week.
